Overview
Be a part of the marketing force behind Canon's Regional Technical Headquarters! Collaborate with thecreative team and the brilliant corporate connections behind our medical and non-medical production endeavors! This position provides support to develop and execute marketing plans for contract manufacturing services and new product/service offerings. You will engage in market research, print and digital advertising and exhibit management.
Responsibilities
- Studies market conditions, complies data and makes recommendations for developing marketing strategies and execution plan.
- Provides market intelligence on the trends, customers, competitors and other factors affecting the marketplace to support decision making.
- Develops and tracks metrics to identify the effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives; makes recommendations to optimize marketing effectiveness.
- Coordinates the development of promotional and marketing materials such as brochures, data sheets, videos, advertisements, trade show booths, etc.; coordinates the compliance approval of marketing materials.
- Provides materials and data as needed to support new business development initiatives.
- Develops and maintains web site and digital marketing content.
- Conducts market research using a variety of data sources in order to compile information such as competitive market analysis, potential prospects, industry trends, competitors, etc.
- Supports marketing plan development, including identifying target audience, market positioning, marketing campaigns, etc.
- Collects and analyzes data to evaluate marketing performance and potential performance to drive growth, maximize impact, and achieve objectives; may assist in the development of marketing plans and/or strategies.
- Ensures compliance with Canon's branding guidelines for all marketing materials and activities.
- Assists with development of promotional and marketing materials such as brochures, data sheets, videos, advertisements, trade show booths, etc.; assists with coordinating the compliance approval of marketing materials.
- Coordinates planning, managing, executing and attending trade shows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field and 2-5 years of directly related experience.
- Broad understanding and experience in marketing and business promotion activities, preferably in manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills and professional image.
- Travel which involves driving and/or flying for company business; must comply with company safety guidelines and policies.
- Digital Marketing Experience is a plus!
- Must be at least 18 years old.
