Job Summary

Sentara Medical Group has an employment position available for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join Sentara Plastic Surgery Specialists in Virginia Beach/Norfolk, VA. The APP will provide inpatient and outpatient pre/post surgical care for plastics trauma and elective, cosmetic services.

Position Highlights:
*Plastic Surgery-related pre/post surgical care
*Surgical experience preferred
*Varied case load
*Support inpatient rounding and outpatient care
*Work with attending plastic surgeons
*Manage pager during daily scheduled coverage
*Minimal weekend coverage
*No night coverage at this time

Qualifications:

MLD - Master's Level Degree: Nurse Practitioner (Required), MLD - Master's Level Degree: Nurse Practitioner (Required)

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Certification - Other/National, Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Nursing License - North Carolina, Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Nursing License - Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP), Physician Assistant License (PA) - State License - North Carolina, Physician Assistant License (PA) - State License - Other/National, Physician Assistant License (PA) - State License - Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP)
