Primary Responsibilities HDR is seeking to hire a Movable Bridge Program Manager. The primary responsibility of the Movable Bridge Program Manager is to provide technical and client leadership relative to Movable bridges and other heavy movable structures, and to serve as mentor/advisor to more junior level staff on design and construction projects. Primary Responsibilities In the role of Movable Bridge Program Manager, we'll count on you to:

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline is required.
- PE is required
- 10 years management experience, including project management and staff management.
- Experience on significant movable bridge projects is required.
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Ability to handle multiple assignments
- Good leadership and organizational skills
- Technical experience in the area of movable bridge design and rehabilitation
- Demonstrated understanding of multi-disciplinary movable bridge work (structural, mechanical, and electrical)
- Familiarity with AASHTO or AREMA movable bridge specifications
- Experience delivering quality movable bridge work for NY/NJ area clients
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned and client-focused culture is a must
Preferred Qualifications
- Design-build experience
- Experience delivering quality movable bridge work for clients throughout the East United States
- Candidates who reside locally in the Hampton Roads area is preferred.
