Sentara Medical Group is looking to add a PA or NP to our team! Sentara Medical Group has an employment position available for an Advanced Practice Provider to join Sentara Neurosurgery Specialists at the Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital location. Join an experienced team who strongly value quality, collegiality, and teamwork. One year's experience in neurosurgery or neuro-critical care preferred.Education and experience:
*Successful completion of an accredited physician assistant or nurse practitioner program
*Master's level degree
*Active or actively acquiring VA license and DEA license
*One year's experience in neurosurgery or neuro-critical care preferred
Highlights of the position:
*Rotating schedule with occasional weekends
*Nighttime and weekend differential
*Provide care for patients in a variety of settings including ED, NCCU, trauma, and medical floors
*Responsible for emergent bedside procedures
*Surgeries performed at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, a 543-bed tertiary care facility with Level 1 Trauma Center, Virginial Beach General hospital, and Carplex hospital
*$3,000 Anneal CME expense reimbursement
