Rotating (United States of America)Sentara Health is hiring a Clinical Pharmacist for Sentara Albemarle's Inpatient Pharmacy, in Elizabeth City, North Carolina!Status: Full Time (40 hours)
Work hours:Rotating shifts to include the following shifts
0630 to 1500
0730 to 1600
0830 to 1700
1230 to 2100
1430 to 2300
Weekends (approximately every 3rd weekend) and holidays required.
Shared call off hours
Location: Sentara Albemarle's Inpatient Pharmacy in Elizabeth City, North Carolina
Qualifications:
Pharmacist license in NC REQUIRED
Prior hospital experience strongly preferred
BLS required within six months of hire.

Job Summary
Manages patient drug therapy in accordance with the medical staff approved clinical practice standards. Maintains current knowledge of drug use through continuing education. Serves as the primary resource for drug information within the hospital. Assures the appropriateness of all physician medication orders. Precepts pharmacy students as assigned.BLS required within six months of hire. Please note: Clinical Pharmacists working in Sentara Rx (0014891) are excluded from the BLS requirement. Will consider new graduated pharmacists and pharmacists not licensed in Virginia/NC due to relocation. Must have Virginia or North Carolina (applicable to location) license within 90 days of Sentara start date.
