Sentara Health is hiring an experienced Lab Quality Coordinator to work full time days at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA. This position will require travel to other Sentara facilities in the Hampton Roads area.

Sign on bonus up to $20,000 for qualified candidates!

The lab quality coordinator will be responsible for the management of processes to support ongoing compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards system-wide. Interfaces and collaborates with leadership, medical and laboratory staff to establish and implement ongoing compliance, survey readiness, and to meet accreditation and compliance goals. Researches and obtains clarity of standard compliance requirements while keeping leadership informed on progress.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors level degree

- ASCP or AMT certification

- 5 years of related experience.

Job Summary

Responsible for the management of processes to support ongoing compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards system-wide. Interfaces and collaborates with leadership, medical and laboratory staff to establish and implement ongoing compliance, survey readiness, and to meet accreditation and compliance goals. Researches and obtains clarity of standard compliance requirements while keeping leadership informed on progress.

Bachelor's Degree in the Sciences acceptable. Experience required must be within the Laboratory arena in Accreditation and regulatory; or Laboratory Leadership; or Quality Improvement. Must possess understanding of regulatory accreditation agency standards. Strong computer spreadsheet and graphic software skills required.
