The Compensation Analyst is responsible for supporting compensation administration and implementation for the organization's various compensation programs. This includes areas related to compensation requirements, including position descriptions and evaluations, FLSA testing, salary administration and conducting compensation analyses. This position will assist with implementation of compensation programs, helping translate strategy into results.

Core Responsibilities
  • Completes and maintains salary survey data by compiling, organizing, and submitting data on a timely basis. Coordinates data for market analysis to ensure up to date market information for management to perform annual reviews and frequent pricing of jobs.

  • Evaluates the organizations jobs, documenting responsibilities and requirements in job descriptions. Responds to inquiries and issues involving compensation, market competitiveness, job leveling, and job description maintenance and development. Ensures compliance with FLSA.

  • Execute on core process to include the support of the annual merit increase process and annual performance review cycle. Partner with HRIS and Payroll departments to plan the process and ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently without errors.

  • Maintain and enhance a database for accessing compensation information and associated job descriptions

  • Assists with KPI tracking, calculations and forecasting of all incentive plans including annual incentives and sales incentive compensation.

  • Responsible for the preparation of compensation based communication materials.

  • Support and partner with key stakeholders to drive completion of compensation projects.

  • Develop and maintain internal compensation databases, processes, and procedures.

  • Special projects as needed including acquisition integration, organization re-structuring, system installation, report analysis, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university and 2+ years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience; required.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Excellent analytical and technical skills including expertise in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and HRIS.

  • Knowledge of, and experience with, compensation principles and concepts, compensation analysis and consulting, including market pricing, compensation plan/structure design, job evaluation and grading, and FLSA review.

  • Demonstrated maturity in dealing with all levels of employees and the ability to maintain confidentiality of all employee information.

  • Strong planning, problem-solving, project management, organizational, and communication skills; able to multi-task.

  • Current PHR, SHRM-CP or CCP certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus.

  • Ability to develop positive working relationships with both internal and external vendors and customers.

  • Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.

  • Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.

Salary Range

$59,500.00 - $89,500.00
