Job Description

Kalman & Company Inc. is looking for a Process Line Lead to manage its Chesapeake production line. The successful candidate will oversee the assembly line workers, ensure orders are completed on time, and comply with company policies and safety procedures. This position requires the ability to work well alone and as part of a team, some travel is needed, and extended periods of standing, lifting, and carrying up to 40 lbs are required to hold an Active Secret Security Clearance or higher.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure the production team compliance with safety, conduct, and company policies/procedures.
- Ensure that Production team has all resources necessary to meet safety and production goals.
- Evaluate incoming orders and set up production line accordingly.
- Provide technical knowledge to solve any technical issues.
- Facilitate accurate inventory of CBR and ATFP assets counted daily.
- Ensure quality assurance and control activities are being conducted.

Qualifications:
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Able to work on their feet for up to 8 hours a day in a non-climate-controlled environment.
- US Citizenship is required.
- High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred:
- BS/BA Degree.
- Experience with appropriate Navy CBR equipment.
- Experience in a supervisory role.
