SummaryAs a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will partner with Operations and Engineering to help develop and improve new products related to Cargo Inspection Systems. - Enrolled in a BS or MS Mechanical Engineering Program
- 2+ years completed in your degree program
- Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, etc.)
- Experience with manufacturing processes such as sheet metal, welding, machining, etc.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong desire to learn and engage in the daily Engineering activities
- Understanding of good Engineering practices
Responsibilities
- Develop new product through the testing, verification, and validation of prototype systems.
- Create detailed Engineering drawings and documentation to facilitate the transition of new product into manufacturing.
- Report regularly to the Engineering team on progress / roadblocks.
- Interface with diverse teams across multiple disciplines and time zones
