Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Commerical Lease Administrator.

Position Status: Full-time, Day Shift

For those located in Washington State, the following salary range applies: $49,533.12 - $68,359.20

Standard Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM (EST)

Minimum Requirements:

  • Required: Associates or 2 years of related experience in lieu of degree

  • Required: 5 years of related experience Lease Administration, Real Estate Accounting/Law, or Property Management

  • Strongly Preferred: Experience with Yardi

  • Excellent computer and organization experience

  • Project management and time management skills

Position Overview:

The Commercial Lease Administrator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the lease agreement process, from coordinating the creation of new documents to managing day-to-day administrative tasks. The Commerical Lease Administrator will assist with document creation from templates; including but not limited to, new leases, lease renewals, subleases, lease terminations, lease amendments, lease summary sheets, and letters.Communicate with tenants and staff members. Interpret lease documents, prepare reports, and write correspondence. Review leases and verify related documents for proper execution. Track leases through the process; maintain, abstract, and update lease activities in Yardi. Monitors dashboard in Yardi for upcoming notice dates and lease expirations, follows through with directors and leasing staff on status. Works with Director and Real Estate team to when onboarding and offboarding properties, special projects, and related duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Perform a variety of complex leasing and lease management activities for leadership, often on an independent basis and otherwise under minimal supervision. This position requires a thorough knowledge of lease structure and development, lease administration, lease document management systems, amortization programs and mathematical analytical processes, filing systems and tickler systems.

Associates or 2 years of related experience in lieu of degree required. Experience must be in Lease Administration, Real Estate Accounting/Law, or Property Management. Associates degree in Business Administration preferred. Must be knowledgeable of Adobe software
