We are seeking a Landscape Designer with 1-4 years of experience to join our Landscape Architecture team in the West Palm Beach, FL office.

In this position you will work collaboratively on a variety of projects ranging from large scale master planned communities,commercial and industrial projects, transportation projects, as well as parks and plazas. Clients include municipalities and state agencies, private developers, property owners, national homebuilders, and industrial distributors.

Responsibilities

Day to day responsibilties will include the following:

    Prepare construction document packages at the direction of a senior staff member including:
    • Landscape Plans
    • Irrigation Plans
    • Hardscape Plans
    • Site Amenity Plans
  • Prepare conceptual plans by hand and in CAD.
  • Prepare renderings.
  • Assist in the development of opinion of construction cost estimates.
  • Prepare feasibility reports.
  • Perform landscape inspections.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture or related design profession from an accredited university
  • Demonstrated 1-4 years in progressively responsible design experience in private planning practice
  • Demonstrates reliable understanding of the relationship between design and constructability
  • High proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Experience using computer software programs including SketchUp, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and/or Illustrator is a plus
  • Proficiency in preparing hand drawn sketches, graphics and illustrations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to write business correspondence and presentations
  • Ability to work as a team, or independently
  • Night and weekend work may be required
  • Travel to other office locations may be required
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
