Position Description

SRC is currently seeking a technical ELINT analyst in Charlottesville, Va. Position will be stationed in an SRC office supporting an intelligence customer in the area.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

* Conduct research and technical signals analysis of radar information gleaned from extensive use of GaleLite, Wrangler, Pathfinder, TRAX, DASS databases and other ELINT production resources
* Produce reports detailing the capabilities of foreign radar and radar-controlled weapons systems
* Use specialized analysis and decision support software to ensure analysis is accurately reflected in the national technical ELINT reference and emitter characterization files
* Support organizations charged with exploiting combinded emitter database (CED) and electronic warfare integrated reprogramming database (EWIRDB) information in order to develop weapons systems and electronic countermeasures and to formulate tactics and operational deployment strategies
* Conduct detailed analysis using MARTES, Wrangler, GALE, MS Word, Excel and other analysis tools
* Produce technical ELINT analytic reports (ELT, ELS, GAR)
* Support review of information for utilization in EWIRDB file updates

Position Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and/or five years experience in technical ELINT analysis
* Must have published technical ELINT reports or equivalent papers on ELINT, electronic warfare or radar topics
* Working knowledge of digital analysis tools and techniques is required
* Applicants must have completed NCS course SIGE-2810, SIGE-3810 or demonstrate equivalent experience
* Database (EWIRDB, CED, AFMSS/CSDB) and intelligence community experience as well as experience working with Pathfinder TRAX, DASS, CATS and ESP is required
* Experience producing serialized technical ELINT documents, to include ELTs/ELSs, and able to perform pulse level analysis of digital files
* Working knowledge and experience with geospatial analysis tools such as ARCGIS is highly desired

Security Requirements

An active Top Secret/SCI security clearance and current investigation are required.
