Position Description
SRC is seeking an electronic warfare engineer in Charlottesville, Va. The selected candidate will be conducting in-depth engineering research and all-source intelligence analysis of radar and weapons systems in support of the Electronic Warfare Reprogramming Database (EWIRDB).
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
* Manage and conduct research and engineering analysis for battlefield sensor systems to include, but not limited to, radars * Produce assessments detailing the capabilities and vulnerabilities of foreign sensor systems * Develop/use specialized analysis and decision support software to ensure assessments are accurately reflected in national technical libraries such as EWIRDB * Directly support organizations charged with exploiting EWIRDB information in order to develop weapon systems and electronic countermeasures and to formulate tactics and operational deployment strategies
Position Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related degree and two or more years of radar or electronic systems analysis related experience * Ability to document/support analysis and assessments with strong attention to detail required * Ability to manage and conduct engineering analysis on weapon systems, platforms, electro-optic systems and communication systems * Must demonstrate a working knowledge of the intelligence community and their interactions * Ability to work independently and with teams with excellent verbal/written communication skills required * Ability to support analysis across several technical disciplines * MATLAB/Simulink experience to support analytical tool development and integration in analysis process is strongly desired * Experience with intelligence analysis, EWIRDB, Pathfinder TRAX, development of MATLAB engineering models/tools or similar software experience and electro-optic analysis/design a plus
